The South Western Road Club is a member-led social road cycling club with rides starting from Cobham, Effingham and Walton-on-Thames in Surrey. We ride on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays with differing groups to cater for distance and speed preferences. The main focus is always on enjoying a social ride in good company, usually stopping at a lovely café for coffee and cake on route.

You are very welcome to join us for a couple of trial rides before deciding on membership. All our rides have a pre-planned route and a designated ride leader. Please contact the Club Runs Secretary to find a ride that suits you.

The SWRC has been running the May Flyer sportive for 25 years and the next event is on Sunday 18th May 2025. The last event was on Sunday 12th May 2024 and this was a fantastic day. The availability of free homemade refreshments is very popular
