The South Western Road Club (SWRC) is a friendly, inclusive, welcoming Cycling club based around South West London and Surrey with a membership of over 160 cyclists. We welcome new riders to join us on any of our rides to see if this club is suitable for the type of cycling that you enjoy.
The active heart of the club are the seven mixed level groups that meet on our Saturday rides, with a rotating six monthly list of the planned destinations taking in the roads and lanes of Surrey, Sussex, Kent & Hampshire. There are also midweek rides and in the summer months, evening social rides finishing with a drink in a local pub. You are welcome to try us out on a club ride. The SWRC has been running the May Flyer sportive for 25 years and the next event is on Sunday 18th May 2025. The last event was on Sunday 12th May 2024 and this was a fantastic day. The availability of free homemade refreshments is very popular
